QC Analytical - Group Leader
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a QC Analytical Group Leader for its Sanford, NC pharmaceutical testing laboratory. The role combines hands-on analytical testing of pharmaceutical products with supervisory responsibilities, including staff coaching, workflow management, and technical troubleshooting in a GMP-regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of pharmaceutical products, raw materials, and validation samples
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation per established procedures
- Create, review, and approve GMP documentation including test records and validation protocols
- Coach, develop, and supervise direct reports; plan and monitor departmental workflows
- Serve as technical resource and troubleshooter; recommend operational and technical improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
- Minimum 2 years laboratory experience, QC laboratory preferred
- Proficiency with analytical instruments: UV-VIS, HPLC, UPLC, pH meters, osmometers, TOC, conductivity
- Demonstrated hands-on analytical testing in cGMP environment
- Strong mathematical and data analysis capabilities
- Accurate pipetting skills
- Previous leadership experience preferred
