Transmission Project Manager

Overview Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking a Project Manager for our Tucson, AZ office to lead an organized project team of engineers and drafters on transmission line and foundation design projects. Responsibilities Provide quality control/quality assurance for engineering and drawing deliverables associated with transmission lines, including P&Ps, foundation calculations and drawings, structure load calculations and drawings, design criteria documents, and other supporting documents for transmission line construction packages. Make sound engineering decisions and judgments for project progress and success. Lead a team of engineers with assigned work development tasks, including engineer proposals under supervision. Prepare technical documents, project management reports, budget tracking, and schedule development. Minimum Requirements Minimum Requirements: BSCE or CSME and 10 years' experience, or an MS degree in engineering with sufficient experience for advancement as determined by management, or a combination of applicable education and experience as determined by management; professional registration (engineer or surveyor); demonstrated capability to effectively perform project management for large engineering projects in a hands-on manner. The successful applicant must have proven effective verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and on a team, attention to detail, and high organizational skills. Must be able to work with confidential information and exercise independent judgment. The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checks.
