Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

$27–$30/hour

Charleston Rehab & Nursing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This is a great opportunity to provide hands-on care in a skilled nursing and post-acute setting while helping residents regain mobility, independence, and confidence.

Position Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents in improving strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and functional independence
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies
• Accurately document treatment sessions in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and physicians to deliver coordinated, resident-centered care

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
