Alliance Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking experienced  Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses to provide safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute-care hospital environment. The RN will assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer treatments and medications, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Minimum Experience Requirement

Candidates must have:

At least two years of acute-care Medical/Surgical nursing experience obtained within the past five years.

Experience limited to skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, home care, outpatient clinics, or other non-acute settings does not meet this requirement unless the candidate also has the required acute-care Medical/Surgical experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments safely.
• Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, diagnostic findings, intake and output, and treatment responses.
• Provide care to patients with various medical, surgical, post-operative, and chronic health conditions.
• Recognize and respond promptly to clinical deterioration and emergencies.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Follow infection-prevention, medication-safety, patient-identification, and fall-prevention procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with HIPAA, facility policies, and professional nursing standards.
• Participate in admissions, transfers, discharges, bedside reporting, and care transitions.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of assignment, or an applicable multistate compact license.
• Minimum of two years of acute-care Medical/Surgical experience within the past five years.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification when required by the facility.
• Ability to manage multiple patients safely in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to complete all Alliance Staffing Solutions and facility credentialing requirements before assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with post-operative, orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, or medically complex patients.
• Experience using electronic medical record systems.
• Charge nurse, rapid-response, telemetry, or patient-education experience.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on facility needs.
