Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager | Charlotte Area | Growing Industry Leader Are you a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys developing high-performing teams while driving process improvements and operational excellence? We're partnering with a growing organization seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations for a key business segment and help support continued growth. What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and develop an accounting team through coaching, training, and performance management Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity Partner with Sales, Operations, and Corporate leadership to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting Perform financial and variance analysis across P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and capital expenditures Support external audits and ensure strong internal controls Drive process improvements, automation efforts, and enhanced financial reporting capabilities Participate in strategic initiatives, including system implementations, acquisitions, and cost-reduction projects What We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive accounting experience 2+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication and business partnering skills Experience with cloud-based ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or NetSuite CPA and/or MBA preferred BlackLine experience is a plus Why Consider This Opportunity?
