Quality Engineer II

Quality Engineer II – Stevens Point, WI Donaldson is seeking a Quality Engineer II who will apply process‑minded and hands‑on problem‑solving skills to maintain, develop, and operate manufacturing systems. Candidates must work onsite at the Stevens Point, WI facility. Role Responsibilities Responsible for Customer PPAP, certifications, product measurement, and testing. Facilitate effective corrective actions internally and externally. Investigate and determine root causes for internal and external rejections and implement preventive corrective actions. Manage the internal audit program and conduct internal audits to support the QMS. Effectively develop and lead cross‑functional process improvement teams. Initiate internal continuous improvement quality projects, including identifying needs and managing the CI process. Support third‑party quality audits. Develop quality procedures to maintain controls of processes. Transfer best practices, techniques, procedures, and tools to peers and other process improvement teams. Continue to develop core tool knowledge of quality management by obtaining additional training and certifications. Travel Up to 10% travel. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 3+ years of quality or manufacturing experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ISO and/or IATF certification or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field. Prior quality engineering or manufacturing engineering experience. Original equipment experience (off‑road and/or automotive). Ability to apply Six Sigma tools and principles such as process capability, Gage R&R, Design of Experiments, and DMAIC. Experience facilitating 8D analysis and implementing corrective actions internally and externally. Immigration Sponsorship Not available.
