Dispatch OTR/Customer Service - (1st & 2nd shift) FT & PT

Pridestaff is looking for Dispatch OTR/Customer Service Reps for a client located in Florence, KY. This is a temp-to-hire position, paying $20-$24/hr. Depending on experience.
2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm with alternating weekends.


Key Responsibilities

• Emergency Dispatch: Receive incoming calls, emails, and alerts for road service events, dispatching technicians or tow services promptly.
• Repair Coordination: Manage the end-to-end repair process, including tire repairs and mechanical work.
• Driver Support: Act as the primary contact for OTR (Over-the-Road) drivers facing equipment issues, providing status updates on repair ETAs.
• Data Management: Log accurate repair data, monitor service status, and track real-time repair events on the clients platform.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with drivers, repair shops, and clients to ensure quick, efficient resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Industry Experience: Prior experience in heavy-duty repair, roadside assistance, or fleet dispatching is generally required.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to use telematics, GPS, and dispatch software.
• Communication: Strong phone and communication skills to handle high-stress situations calmly.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure to get trucks back on the road.
• Schedule Flexibility: Readiness to work in a 24/7 environment.

• Fast-paced, high-pressure, service-oriented environment focused on reducing costly downtime.
• Often remote or office-based, involving heavy phone and computer usage.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $24.00
