Buyer I

As Buyer of the Sparta team, you will be involved in purchasing quality products for our Marine business. Responsibilities will include processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, creating and maintaining inventory, quality assurance and liaising with inventory teams and management. Your Main Responsibilities Purchase quality products and materials. Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing. Process requisitions and update management on status of orders. Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels. Establish safety stock level per component demands. Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery. Analyze trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions. Review planned orders and generate PO's. Monitor the order cycle with suppliers and ensure that delivery is done in accordance with contract specifications.
