Employment Type Full-time Requirements Basic life support Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Licensed dental hygienist Licensure: Valid State of California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license. Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification. Clinical Skills: Proficiency in standard dental hygiene procedures, including coronal polishing. Soft Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a patient-centric approach to care. Teamwork: Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment. Job Description Patient Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis), periodontal maintenance, and comprehensive oral assessments. Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, plaque control, and preventive care strategies. Clinical Procedures: Administer local anesthetics and take dental X-rays as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with the dentist and the dental team to identify oral health issues and ensure optimal patient care. Administration: Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and update treatment plans within the practice management software. Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
