Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Edgewood, Kentucky.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 2\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN with pre cardiac cath and port management experience for a night shift assignment requiring an active KY or compact RN license.Details\n \n Telemetry unit setting supporting ED boarders awaiting inpatient beds\n Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30)\n Potential for block scheduling, though not guaranteed\n Uses EPIC EMR system, experience required\n Float requirement between Edgewood and Florence campuses, as well as to Observation, MS, and MS Tele units as needed\n Requirements\n \n Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration\n Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS\n Minimum 1.5 years of telemetry experience required\n Experience with pre cardiac cath patients and port management required\n Prior travel nursing experience required\n EPIC charting experience required\n COVID vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions only) and flu vaccination required\n Additional Information\n \n Support ED boarder patients awaiting inpatient beds, with floating to observation units as needed based on census\n No cafeteria on-site, though a refrigerator and microwave are provided\n Free parking available in any unrestricted space\n Scrubs must be navy blue with no agency or brand logos\n Nails must be less than 1/4 inch in length with natural fingernails required for direct client care; polish is acceptable\n No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted\n Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius\n No RTO permitted from 12/15/2026 through 1/5/2027\n Returning staff must have a break of at least one year from full-time, part-time, or per diem employment to be considered as a traveler\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-757929.
