Security Systems Engineer

Salary: $85,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

• We look for 5+ years of experience installing and supporting enterprise physical security systems.
• We require hands-on experience with enterprise access control and video management platforms.
• We need strong troubleshooting ability across hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
• We value excellent customer service and clear communication skills.
• We seek someone who is self-directed and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• We require a valid drivers license and the ability to travel throughout Indiana.
• Preferred experience includes technologies such as Genetec, LenelS2, C•CURE 9000, Milestone, Avigilon, AXIS Communications, Hanwha Vision, Bosch, i-PRO, Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, networking (CCNA or equivalent), and VMware or Hyper-V.
• Manufacturer and industry certifications are highly valued, though not mandatory.

• We serve as the primary onsite technical contact for a major enterprise customer in downtown Indianapolis for approximately 24 hours each week.
• We build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders while representing our company professionally.
• We install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain enterprise physical security systems.
• We support access control, video surveillance, intercom, intrusion detection, and other low-voltage technologies.
• We carry out system upgrades, preventative maintenance, commissioning, and service calls.
• We diagnose hardware, software, network, and server-related issues with minimal supervision.
• We support Windows servers, networking equipment, SQL databases, and security system infrastructure.
• We coordinate with project managers, programmers, engineers, and field technicians to ensure successful project delivery.
• We document service work, system modifications, and customer communications.
• We participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to provide emergency support when needed.
• We travel throughout Indiana to support installations and service projects.
• We continuously strengthen our technical expertise through training and manufacturer certifications.
