Marketplace Operations Associate (Contract) Duration: 1 Year Pay: $26.89 Schedule: Hybrid – Onsite Monday through Thursday, Remote Friday Position Summary We are seeking a Marketplace Operations Associate to support the growth and optimization of a rapidly expanding eCommerce marketplace. This role will focus on onboarding vendor partners, maintaining product catalogs, supporting shoppable experiences, and executing operational initiatives that deliver a seamless and scalable marketplace experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across operations, vendor management, marketing, and product teams. This position requires someone who can manage day-to-day execution while contributing to broader marketplace performance and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Support the end-to-end onboarding of marketplace vendors and products, ensuring compliance with established processes, standards, and timelines. Partner with vendors, integration teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to configure, validate, and launch marketplace products. Maintain product catalog accuracy and integrity, ensuring data quality and compliance with internal standards and policies. Assist with marketplace growth initiatives, process improvements, and operational optimization projects. Monitor and analyze product and vendor data to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and support business decisions. Execute marketing operations activities, including email campaign deployment and CRM audience segmentation. Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor communications and collaborate with Finance on billing and reconciliation activities. Support product operations, including site setup, merchandising, taxonomy management, analytics tracking, and performance reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 1–2 years of experience in eCommerce, marketplace operations, or a customer- or vendor-facing operations role. Understanding of eCommerce platforms, online product catalogs, and marketplace operations. Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with marketplace platforms such as Mirakl is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound business judgment. Experience supporting operational processes and driving workflow improvements. Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
