Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact supporting students and staff in an onsite school psychology setting. This contract position is located in the area near Shelton, CT, with convenient access to a dynamic educational community. If you are a bilingual (Spanish-English) School Psychologist with the flexibility to work across grade levels and caseloads, this opportunity offers a rewarding environment for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid CT Educator Certification
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required
- Comfortable managing a range of student populations and grade levels
- Prior experience in educational settings is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and monitor effective student interventions
- Provide counseling for students as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services provided
- Support a positive, inclusive school climate
Position Details:
- Contract duration: August 24, 2026 – May 21, 2027 (dates subject to change)
- Schedule: 30–32.5 hours per week
- Onsite responsibilities at an assigned location
