Travel Surgical Technologist - $1,940 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) Open Heart RN position available in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves working in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment within the cardiovascular surgery unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and should possess the necessary qualifications and experience for the role. Job Details: Certification is mandatory. Must have Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience. Location: Asheville, NC. Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 05:00 AM to 01:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS). Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, CVOR experience. Additional Information: Experience performing procedures such as large-bore IV starts, arterial, central, and epidural line placements, medication administration, skin assessments, and assisting with Induction and Intubation procedures required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent documentation, critical thinking skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills with the interdepartmental team.
