Job Title: Tow Truck Driver
Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Atlanta, GA . This role involves safely operating a tow truck to assist stranded motorists, transport vehicles, and provide roadside assistance. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and has experience in vehicle recovery and towing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a flatbed or wrecker tow truck to tow or recover vehicles
- Respond to dispatch calls for roadside assistance, accident recoveries, and vehicle transportation
- Secure and transport vehicles without damage, following company and state regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients in stressful situations
- Perform basic roadside assistance such as jump-starts, tire changes, lockouts, and fuel delivery
- Maintain accurate records of towed vehicles, mileage, and service reports
- Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures to ensure a smooth and secure tow
- Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Georgia CDL or tow truck operator license (preferred)
- Towing certification (Towing and Recovery Association of America - TRAA) or ability to obtain
- Prior experience as a tow truck driver or in roadside assistance (preferred)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
