In this role, responsibilities include ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the racquet facilities. You will work diligently to create a welcoming and secure environment for members and guests, allowing them to fully enjoy their racquet sports experience. Your attention to detail and commitment to service will be key in promoting a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere within the club./ppReporting Structure/pp Reports to the Head Tennis/Pickleball Professional or Racquet Sports Director/ppDay to Day/pulliCommunicate and collaborate with the relevant supervisor to prioritize, acknowledge, document, and complete requested tasks efficiently./liliMaintain the courts professionally, ensuring a consistently safe environment for all facility users./liliComplete assigned tasks, ranging from simple to complex, including brushing and lining racquet courts, blowing off sidewalks, weeding, cleaning net headbands, replacing lines, maintaining lighting, repairing fences, painting, reapplying clay, and resurfacing courts./liliOperate, maintain, and clean equipment and power tools according to operating instructions and safety protocols./liliPerform all cleaning activities in the racquet areas to meet the clubs cleanliness standards, including daily cleaning and disinfecting of locker rooms, water fountains, coolers, and ice dispensers./liliMaintain appropriate levels of racquet area amenities, including towels, cups, ice, and coolers, are consistently maintained./liliEnsure all racquet equipment is in proper working condition and complies with local health codes./liliConduct yourself professionally, adhering to the clubs values, philosophies, and standards, including wearing the approved uniform and nametag./liliComplete daily assignments in designated areas to meet club standards ensuring no trash or debris is present on the courts./li/ulpAdditional Duties/pulliDue to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management./liliFollow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions./liliMaintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff./liliFollow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same./liliTake the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role./liliAddress and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations./liliAttend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the teams success./li/ulpAbout You/ppPreferred/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliPrior experience in maintenance or custodial work, preferably in a recreational or sports facility setting./liliFamiliarity with different types of racquet court surfaces (e.g., clay, grass, hard court) and their specific maintenance needs is a plus./liliUnderstanding of safety protocols related to maintenance tasks and the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and tools./liliStrong interpersonal skills to interact positively with members and guests while performing maintenance duties./li/ulpPhysical Requirements/pulliFrequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving./liliOccasional exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases./liliSquatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending./liliAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. on occasion./liliTalking, hearing, and seeing./li/ulpPrimary Tools/Equipment/pulliRacket (1 lbs.)/liliBall Machine (25 lbs.)/liliRacquet Balls (1 lbs.)/liliCones and markers (1 lbs.)/liliTargets (1 lbs.)/liliBrooms (2 lbs.)/liliHoses (5 lbs.)/liliStep ladders (10 lbs.)/liliTrash bags (30 lbs.)/liliBoxes (5-30 lbs.)/liliSqueegees (5 lbs.)/li/ulpWork Schedule/pulliAdherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule./liliFlexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines./liliAvailability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required./li/ulpWhat We Offer/ppWe believe in taking care of our team, and our Total Rewards package reflects that commitment.
