Facility Technician - Gessner

Location: North Gessner Facility - Houston, Texas
Schedule: M-F First Shift 8am-4:30pm

Job Summary:
This role involves handling and preparing computer hardware for deployment, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining a clean and organized production environment. The ideal candidate is punctual, works well in a fast-paced setting, and is flexible with scheduling, including potential second shifts and occasional weekends.


Key Responsibilities:

• Unbox and inspect computer hardware for setup and deployment.

• Enroll Chromebooks for customer use according to specifications.

• Image laptops and desktops with required software and settings.

• Configure and organize laptop charging carts for customers.

• Lift, move, and position computer equipment safely.

• Work efficiently in a high-volume production environment while maintaining quality standards.

• Assist in the delivery of computer hardware as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the production facility.

• Adhere to facility metrics and productivity goals.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to work standing for long periods of time.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a production-based environment.

• Punctual and reliable with adherence to defined facility metric goals and processes.

• Previous experience in a similar role or familiarity with computer hardware setup is a plus but not required.
