Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at a freestanding emergency department, requiring 2-3 years of adult critical care and pediatric experience along with Trauma Level I experience.

Details

• Works independently as an RRT at a freestanding emergency department
• Floats between 4 campuses with advance notice, with primary shift expected at Nashoba at least 2 shifts per week
• Cares for adult critical care and pediatric patients, including pediatric tracheostomy care
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours
• Weekend rotation on an every-other-weekend/every-other-holiday (EOW/EOH) basis
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• MA RRT license required if applicable
• 2-3 years of experience required in adult critical care and pediatrics
• Experience with pediatric tracheostomy patients required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Additional Information

• First-time travelers considered if they meet the required experience qualifications
• Pass/fail EKG testing module required
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be eligible for local consideration
