As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and wellness of our residents through exceptional food service and nutrition management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation, food service, and food presentation in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Monitor food temperatures and quality to ensure patient safety
- Assist with dietary patient care, including menu planning and nutrition counseling
- Collaborate with the dietary team to develop and implement special dietary plans
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the dietary manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
