Operations ManagerAre you an operational leader who loves Jesus? New Horizons is a faith-based non-profit seeking a dedicated Operations Manager. In this role, you will keep our students safe, manage daily logistics of transportation, coordinate facility repairs and train staff in all safety protocols. You will ensure our ministry runs smoothly and securely every day.Your MissionProtect Our Students: Design, implement, and oversee all safety protocols.Lead Transportation: Manage our vehicle fleet and coordinate safe student transit.Maintain Facilities: Oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationships.Build Readiness: Lead regular safety drills (fire, weather, intruder) for staff and students.Train Leaders: Coordinate and track CPR, First Aid, and vehicle safety training.Who You AreFaith-Driven: You possess a deep commitment to Christian faith and ministry values.Safety-First: You have proven experience managing risk and emergency preparedness.Logistics Expert: You love organization, schedules, and fleet management.Handy & Resourceful: You understand basic facility upkeep and vendor management.Strong Communicator: You can train staff clearly and lead with calm authority.RequirementsBachelor's degree in health and safety management or related field3+ years experience in operations management, logistics, or facility leadership.5+ years experience in safety related field5+ years of staff supervisory experienceCurrent CPR/First Aid certification (Instructor certified is a major plus).Strong knowledge of vehicle safety regulations and fleet maintenance.CDL Class B with School bus endorsement preferred - must be willing to driveAbility to pass a comprehensive background check and driving record review.
