This opportunity is ideal for a Professional Engineer licensed in Texas who is deeply connected to airport infrastructure design and project management in the Austin area and beyond.**This Opportunity:*** Lead and oversee detailed design of airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, buildings, and utilities* Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout all phases of project delivery* Prepare comprehensive construction plans and specifications while actively contributing to project estimation and budgeting to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget* Partner with Professional Engineers and Project Managers to define project scopes, develop task hour budgets, create schedules, prepare fee proposals, and lead federal and state grant application and management efforts* Stay at the forefront of industry excellence by mastering the latest airport design standards and innovative procedures.* Create and foster an empowered team environment by embracing individual accountability and contributing collaboratively to shared success.**Essential Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline, demonstrating strong foundational knowledge and technical acumen Demonstrated experience leading planning, design, and execution of complex airport, FAA, and TXDOT projects,* Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas (required).* Proven success managing airport design and construction projects and leading cross-functional teams from concept to completion* Consistent experience leading successful airport engineering projects within various regions throughout the state of Texas* This opportunity is open to candidates residing in Austin, TX and surrounding areas.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience leading planning, design, and execution of complex airport, FAA, and TXDOT projects, applying deep expertise in construction standards and methodologies* Proven experience in proposal writing and client management with demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and win project proposals**Who We Are**Better Places.
