What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adults in a licensed behavioral health setting
• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessment, stabilization, and treatment planning for general behavioral health presentations
• Work within a team-based inpatient model , coordinating care with other providers
• Support continuity of care during your on-service rotation
• Participate in weekend call coverage only during your 14-day rotation
• Collaborate with inpatient NPs who support the clinical team as needed

What You NeedRequired

• MD Psychiatrist
• Indiana medical license (required)
• Board certification in psychiatry (required)
• Ability to accommodate the schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off with 8-hour shifts and weekend call coverage during rotation

Preferred

• Experience with adult inpatient psychiatry (experience requirements not specified in posting)

About the Assignment
This position is with a leading 48-bed licensed adult inpatient behavioral health facility in Newburgh, Indiana , focused on general behavioral health issues. You will work within a team-based setting where typically two psychiatrists alternate 14-day rotations, with inpatient NPs and support staff assisting as needed. Weekend call coverage occurs only during your 14-day rotation (Saturday/Sunday coverage: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ).
