Warehouse Associate1st Shift (Days) Starting at $18.00 per hour (Monday - Friday)5:00a - 1:30p (3:30p Peak Season) 6:30a - 3:30p (4:30p Peak Season)Warehouse Associate Job Summary:Perform job duties in the inbound (receiving), outbound (shipping), warehouse, picking and preparing items for shipment for online orders and supporting retail stores.Principal Responsibilities and Duties:Checks and inspects cartons to reflect accurate quantity and condition for further processingPrepares cartons for processing by: Locating, preparing, and affixing appropriate labels.Packing, labeling, and scanning cartons, as required.Sorting and routing cartons.Entering appropriate information in inventory systems as required.Loading, unloading, and picking, as required.Prepares merchandise for distribution, including: Checks, inspects, and logs data into the appropriate inventory systems to reflect the quantity and condition of merchandise received or distributed.Takes necessary steps to prepare merchandise for inventory and distribution.Inspects merchandise visually to determine disposition, as assigned.Enters/logs appropriate data into on-line systems, as required.Performs one or more stock handling tasks, such as:Packing, unpacking, banding, and assembling merchandise.Sorting and routing merchandiseWeighing merchandise.Moves cartons from one location to another, either manually or mechanically.Picking, labeling, and scanning, as required.Operates simple warehouse equipment as necessary.Performs other related manual tasks, as assigned.Basic Knowledge:Requires the ability to understand and follow general and/or written instructions.
