Starting pay is $19.15 - $21.40 per hour , and no previous banking experience is required . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, cash handling, sales, or relationship building who are looking to grow their career in financial services.

As a Teller / Member Service Representative , you'll be the first point of contact for our members, processing financial transactions, answering questions, building lasting relationships, and identifying solutions that support their financial needs. Position Overview

The Teller / Member Service Representative assists members with everyday banking transactions, account inquiries, and financial solutions while creating a positive banking experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, building relationships, and developing a career in retail banking and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional support to members in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account maintenance, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash while maintaining accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services.
• Educate members on digital banking tools and additional credit union solutions.
• Resolve member questions while maintaining confidentiality and following credit union policies and procedures.
• Support branch goals by providing an outstanding member experience and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, cash handling, banking, or financial services is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping others and building relationships.
• Basic math skills and confidence using technology.
• Ability to learn quickly, work accurately in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with a team.
