St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting résumés for several contingent positions of Professional Pathways Adjunct Instructor. This is an applicant pool for part time, temporary instructors.Instructors will facilitate self-discovery and career exploration; goal setting and informed decision making; soft skills and effective oral and written communication. Instructors may be considered for any course within the Professional Pathways sequence, including the Career & Network Navigation courses and the Honors College Externship course. These are part-time contingent positions with no benefits provided and an hourly pay of $25.

St. Mary's College of Maryland, the National Public Honors College, is located in Historic St. Mary's City, 70 miles southeast of Washington, D.C. Qualifications

Master's degree, prior teaching experience and understanding of identity development theory and career development theory preferred.

Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered.

Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
