The Lymphoma Research Foundation (the Foundation) seeks a Senior Manager to join the Patient Education and Support Services Department. Reporting to the Director of Support Services and Patient Education, the Senior Manager will execute key functions across the Lymphoma Research Center and implement mission-driven support services. About the Foundation The Foundation is the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted to funding innovative research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives, and patient services. The Foundation’s mission is to realize the promise of science to eradicate lymphoma and serve the community impacted by the disease. With the guidance of a prestigious Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), the Foundation invests in research projects and scientists that have the greatest potential to improve our understanding of lymphomas and lead to improved treatment options for patients. To date, the Foundation has funded more than $86.4 million in research focused on the origins and treatment of lymphoma/chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Through comprehensive disease guides and publications, in-person conferences, and online resources, the Foundation provides education for people with lymphoma, as well as their loved ones and care partners. A robust suite of patient services provides direct support to people who have received a lymphoma diagnosis. An industry leader in digital communications, the Foundation maintains a strong presence on multiple social media platforms and has won national awards for its innovative use of social media to educate cancer patients. The Foundation also provides a wide range of continuing medical education programs designed to increase the knowledge, skills and performance of healthcare professionals who treat and care for people with lymphoma. About the Opportunity The Senior Manager has a critical leadership role within the Lymphoma Resource Center and is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Foundation’s Lymphoma Resource Center, expanding access to patient services and providing support to the Patient Education team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and must have one of the following credentials; LCSW, LPC or LMHC. The position is based in the Foundation’s New York City office; please note that the organization currently utilizes a flex schedule, and all New York-based staff are required to work in the Foundation office weekly Tuesday-Thursday; staff may elect to work remotely Mondays and Fridays. This role is an exempt, full-time position with a salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually. Primary Responsibilities Lymphoma Resource Center Provide accurate, up-to-date information about lymphoma, treatments, and subtypes topatients, care partners, and the public in both English and Spanish. Offer empathetic psychosocial support and navigation to patients and caregivers, drawing upon clinical training, industry best practices and expertise. Connect patients, care partners, and health care professionals with appropriate/approved resources and support services. Input Lymphoma Resource Center data, including calls, emails, and Patient Aid Grant applications, into the database promptly and accurately, while maintaining privacy of all patient information. Conduct Clinical Trials Information Service/ treatment navigation inquiries and Lymphoma Support Network matches. Lead in house publication fulfillment services related to the Lymphoma Resource Center and the Treatment Navigation Service Partner with Communications and Marketing Department to expand outreach to underserved and Spanish-speaking communities. Collaborate with advocacy and community organizations to identify additional support and resources for lymphoma/CLL patients. Maintain updated resources and referral lists. Contribute to analysis of Lymphoma Resource Center trends and produce monthly reports on utilization and patient needs with specific trends for English and Spanish language constituents. Lead the development of the Foundation’s English and Spanish language publications Support Groups and Peer Support Facilitate ongoing support groups (virtual and in-person) for patients and care partners. Create a supportive environment that encourages open dialogue, connection, andemotional well-being. Develop new bilingual support group offerings tailored to Spanish-speaking communities. Patient Education Promote resources and publications to patients, care partners, and healthcareproviders, ensuring bilingual accessibility. Plan and host patient education programs, including the “Talking with Your Healthcare Team” portfolio. Represent Lymphoma Resource Center at national in-person and virtual events. Additional Responsibilities Maintain LCSW, LPC or LMHC credentials. Stay up to date on current oncology treatments and best practices in oncology social work Track program outcomes and assistance with reporting for funders and internal stakeholders. Contribute to annual budget development for areas of responsibility. Support program-related mailings and special projects. Domestic travel (~15%) to support programs and events. LCSW, LPC or LMHC required. Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) required. At least 3–5 years of experience providing direct psychosocial support to patients andfamilies, preferably in oncology or chronic illness settings. Demonstrated experience facilitating support groups. Compassion, patience, and cultural sensitivity when supporting patients and care partners. Strong interest in oncology and willingness to learn about lymphoma subtypes,treatments, and side effects. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Familiarity with the non-profit or healthcare sector preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using databases. #J-18808-Ljbffr
