Job Summary

• Performs clerical, reception, scheduling and patient financial account functions. Assists in coordinating primary healthcare services to a large outpatient client population. Retrieves, reviews and assigns and/or distributes all referrals/faxes. Verifies eligibility and status of referrals when appropriate for the physician office and/or member.

Job Specifications and Core Competencies

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent is preferred. Previous training in general medical office skills and procedures. Proficient and knowledgeable of medical terminology.
