Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Inpatient Pulmonary - Marietta, GA

Position Overview Inpatient Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to join Wellstar Pulmonary Medicine practice. Shift Schedule 100% inpatient pulmonary. Seven shifts per 2‑week pay period: six 12‑hour shifts (7am‑7pm) and one 8‑hour shift (7am‑3pm). No nights or after‑hours call. Weekend coverage requirement: one weekend every four. Coverage Provide inpatient care at four hospitals: Kennestone (Marietta), Cobb (Austell), Douglas (Douglasville), Paulding (Hiram). Responsibilities Collaborate with attending physicians to complete inpatient rounds. Assist with new consults and perform bedside procedures. Receive on‑the‑job training for thoracentesis and potential chest tube placement. Qualifications Licensed or eligible for a Georgia State medical license.
