RoleOverview: WeareseekingahighlymotivatedandorganizedCADDraftsmantojoinourteam.Inthisrole,youwillbeworkingcloselywiththesalesandproductionteamstocreatedetaileddrawings,plans,andblueprintsthatpertaintoroofingandwallpanelsystems.YourprimaryresponsibilitieswillinvolvereviewingplansandcreatingsubmittalpackagesforprojectsaswellasdraftingAutoCADblueprintstomachinepartsonourinhousewaterjet.Typicalprojectsincludebutarenotlimitedtothefollowingsystems:TPO,EPDM,PVC,SBS,MetalRoofing,andMetalWallPanels. KeyResponsibilities: Proficientinreadingandunderstandingprojectspecifications,plans,andscopeofwork. HighlevelofknowledgeandproficiencyusingCADsoftware(AutoCAD)topreparedetailedshopdrawings. Ensuredrawingsarecompliantwithbuildingregulationsandengineeringprincipals. Preparingsubmittalpackagesincludingmaterialandwarrantyinformation. Communicatingpotentialdesignissuestoengineersandarchitects. Visitingprojectsitestogatherinformationanddeterminelimitationsandfeasibilityofdesigns. Requirements: HighlyproficientwithAutoCAD ComputerliteracywithMicrosoftsuiteandAdobe Musthaveexcellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills Attentiontodetail Abilitytohandlemultipleprojectsatatime Self-motivatedtodelivertasksontimeandmaintainworkloadinafast-pacedenvironment.
