The CNC Programmer will create, modify, and optimize CNC programs used to manufacture precision-machined parts. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, layouts, and CAD models to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Create and edit CNC programs for machining operations.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and CAD models.
- Select the proper tooling and machining methods for each job.
- Determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts.
- Inspect sample parts to verify quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues.
- Work with production teams to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure all parts meet customer and quality specifications.
- Previous CNC programming experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with tooling, machining processes, and precision manufacturing.
- Must be able to use analog micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain tight tolerances and produce quality parts.
