Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MT / MLS / MLT) Location: Southeast Massachusetts Shift Night shift Your choice of work schedule: 5x8's or 4x10's Our client is a well-established, integrated healthcare system in Southeast Massachusetts, including an award-winning community hospital, a multi-specialty physician network, and a nursing school. The hospital has recently undergone extensive renovations and upgrades, creating a modern healthcare environment focused on exceptional patient care and safety. The Laboratory is seeking a full-time Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLS/MLT) to join a collaborative team in a state-of-the-art hospital setting. The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician will perform diagnostic testing and laboratory procedures across multiple disciplines, including: Hematology Coagulation Urinalysis Blood Bank Serology Microbiology Additional responsibilities include specimen processing, quality control, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, result reporting, and ensuring compliance with all laboratory policies and regulatory standards. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related scientific field. Completion of an accredited MT or MLT training program. MLT candidates: MLT (ASCP), CLT (NCA), ASCP eligible, or equivalent preferred. MT/MLS candidates: Eligible for ASCP certification required. Generalist laboratory experience, including Blood Bank.
