Job Description
TITLE: OR Tech - Surgical
SCHEDULE: Varied, Weekend and Weekday Call
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
REQUIREMENTS:
- OR experience required
- Must have orthopedic and neuro OR experience (Level 1 or 2)
- Weekend and weeknight on-call availability (4x10s every 4-5th weekend and 1 weeknight per week)
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
- Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to deliver quality patient care
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities
- Provide support during surgical procedures, including assistance with positioning and draping
- Maintain accurate records of surgeries and patient information
COMPLIANCE / NOTES:
- Must meet low/mid/high performer expectations; contract may be terminated for underperformance.
