Jaimes Agency is the largest and top-performing Farmers agency in our district and a three-time Agent of the Year winner. We are hiring an experienced, results-driven sales professional.

This is a sales position - not customer service, reception, or account servicing.

Inside sales, from our office. You sell by phone from our El Paso office. No door knocking, no outside appointments, no driving around town.

Compensation

$17.50/hour base ($36,400/year) plus uncapped commission. Total earning range $36,400-$100,000.

What You Will Do

• Work the leads our agency generates
• Make outbound and cold calls, follow up, and ask for the business
• Build your own pipeline from your natural market, referrals, and cross-selling
• Conduct needs-based sales conversations with prospective clients
• Recommend coverage that fits each client's needs and goals
• Ask for the sale and close new business
• Handle objections with professionalism and persistence
• Follow up on quotes that do not close on the first call
• Build relationships that lead to referrals and long-term retention
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and activity goals
• Keep accurate prospect and sales activity records
• Sell across Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona
• Take part in ongoing coaching, training, and performance reviews

Minimum Qualifications

• At least one year of client-facing sales experience
• A track record of meeting sales goals, quotas, or targets
• Comfortable spending your day on the phone, including cold calls, and asking for the business
• Experience prospecting, following up on leads, handling objections, and closing
• Motivation to earn commission and bonuses on performance
• Strong verbal, written, and phone communication
• Dependable, honest, coachable, competitive, goal-oriented
• Able to work full-time, on-site in El Paso

Preferred

• Insurance sales experience
• Commission-based or quota-driven background
• General Lines Property and Casualty license
• Life and Health license
• Bilingual English and Spanish

Licenses are preferred but not required to apply. We support qualified sales professionals through licensing.
