Outside Insurance Sales Agent

If you enjoy meeting people and building relationships, this outside insurance sales opportunity with our client is a great opportunity. Our client has operated since 1988. You’ll meet clients face to face and help them understand their life insurance options. You don’t need prior insurance experience, but you’ll need the required license before selling. Six-figure earning potential, with some agents achieving six figures in their first year.

You bring the ability to connect with people. Our client brings an established platform to help you develop your insurance business: a no-cost exclusive lead program, access to multiple insurance carriers, practical training and tools to manage your sales activity.

In this role, you’ll meet clients face to face in your local territory, understand their priorities and help them explore life insurance options that fit their needs and budget. Previous insurance experience isn’t required. Strong communication, follow-through and a willingness to learn are essential.

What you’ll do

• Contact prospective clients and arrange local, in-person appointments

• Ask thoughtful questions and explain insurance options clearly

• Guide clients through applications and follow up on outstanding items

• Maintain accurate records and follow licensing, carrier and company requirements

• Participate in training and apply coaching to your work

What you’ll bring

• Strong listening and relationship-building skills

• A self-directed approach and dependable follow-through

• Reliable transportation for local appointments

• A Life and Health insurance license, or willingness and ability to obtain the required licenses before selling

• Comfort with commission-based compensation and field-based work

Compensation

This opportunity begins as a commission-only, 1099 independent-contractor role with no base salary. Earnings depend on sales production. Commission structure will be explained during the application process.
