Overview As a Construction Inspector with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Bridgeport, West Virginia office, you'll support a diverse, local, community focused project schedule across the site development sector. CEC Bridgeport is part of our West Virginia operations, which includes offices in Martinsburg and Charleston. Our Bridgeport office is conveniently located off of interstate 79 and is within walking distance of multiple restaurants. Key Responsibilities: Perform field testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt to ensure compliance with project specs Use specialized equipment like nuclear density gauges and penetrometers Keep equipment clean, calibrated, and ready for action Interact with contractors, engineers, and inspectors as a professional representative of CEC Drive and maintain company vehicles to and from job sites Write daily field reports, interpret project drawings/specs, and enter test data Communicate with Project Managers to keep everything running smoothly Why CEC?
