Logistics Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join their team. As a Logistics Analyst you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting international and internal logistics operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Analyst

Location: Forest City, Iowa

Pay Range: $18 to $20

Shifts available: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.,

3 p.m. to 11 p.m., or 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.

What's the Job?

• Manage intercompany orders, including order entry, inquiries, change requests, and exceptions.

• Investigate order statuses, resolve shipment discrepancies, and address back-order situations.

• Oversee reporting processes for demand planning, order management, inventory, and financial reporting.

• Follow established procedures within supply planning, warehousing, transportation, and inventory control.

• Utilize tracking systems to monitor progress and report results, performing additional duties as assigned.

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of supply chain theories and practices such as warehousing, transportation, and inventory control.

• Experience with computer programs and systems like SAP-ERP, JDA, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret information, examine variables, and assess alternative methods.
