KROC Specialist - Full Time

This position is responsible for:The Kroc Specialist is focused on member acquisition and experience in the areas Membership, Recreation and Fitness. These staff members are responsible for participating in the creation of a welcoming, helpful and safe environment where individuals and families can learn, grow and thrive. The Kroc Specialist will also provide leadership and support to Kroc Associates in a Team Lead capacity.Key Responsibilities:Provides Excellent Customer Service and Experience to Members, Guests and Colleagues.Warmly greets all people that we come in contact with throughout the Kroc CenterLooks for opportunities to be helpful to members, guests and colleaguesListens, and offers thoughtful solutions for members, guests and colleagues.Assists in maintaining a clean and organized environment throughout the buildingAnswers incoming phone calls and addresses needs in a professional and kind mannerUphold Kroc Center policies to maintain and safe and family friendly environmentOperates CCMS/RMS computer software for customer transactions in accordance to Salvation Army and member policiesHandles cash transactions in an ethical mannerUses CCMS system to check-in members and guests,Attends department and center meetings and trainingsPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements.Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.Ability to demonstrate good physical condition and effort associated with walking, running, standing, and moderate-to-advanced weight lifting in a fitness center environment including the ability to meet the demands of the gymnasium and athletic field programs.Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy (25-50 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment. Moderate mobility: duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent changes basis.Education and Experience:Must be at least 18 years of age.High School diploma or G.E.D.2-4 years' experience in customer relations and leading fitness and/or recreational activitiesCertified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor preferred-or-Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Certifications:Safe From Harm CertificationBlood Borne Pathogens CertificationMust have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aide/AED certification within first 30 days of employment.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Veterans | Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
