Assistant Softball Coach

Job Description Budget title: Division I Assistant Coach (SL-2) Salary: Commensurate with experience Binghamton University, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the America East Conference, is seeking an Assistant Softball Coach. This position will assist in all aspects of the softball program under the direction of the head coach, including instruction, conducting practice, teaching skill development, game planning, film review, recruiting, budget management, team travel, scheduling, and serving as an academic advising liaison. Pitching coach preferred. Responsibilities Assist in all aspects of the softball program under the head coach’s direction. Instruction, conduct practice sessions, and teach skill development. Game planning, film review, and recruiting. Budget management, team travel coordination, and scheduling. Academic advising liaison duties. Serve as a campus security authority for Clery Act compliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or higher). Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree. Minimum of 1 year of experience at the Division I intercollegiate athletics level. Additional Information Offers of employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment background check and verification of degree(s) and credentials.
