Medical Device AssemblerVolt is immediately hiring an Medical Device Assembler in Portland, OR 97224. As a Medical Device Assembler, you will:Perform assembly, repair, and testing of medical catheters under close supervision in a regulated manufacturing environment.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and quality system requirements.Accurately complete paper and electronic documentation to maintain full product traceability and support quality investigations.Handle and assemble small components and precision parts, including work under a microscope.Communicate clearly and professionallyMaintain a positive, team-oriented attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.Adhere to all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.Perform repetitive manual tasks such as grasping, pinching, pulling, twisting, and fine motor movements for extended periods.Sit or stand for prolonged periods while maintaining focus and attention to detail.Basic Qualifications | Education:High School Diploma or equivalent qualification required.Basic computer literacy and mathematical skills.Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and verbal directions.Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance.Excellent manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small parts and tools.Comfortable performing prolonged microscope work.Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.Schedule:1st Shift: 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM – Monday to ThursdayThis is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour.Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
