Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) for a healthcare facility located in Oakland, California. This role requires candidates to evaluate, plan, and implement rehabilitative therapy programs aimed at improving patient mobility, reducing pain, and restoring functional movement in adult and geriatric patients. The successful candidate must bring their license on the first day. The position involves working in an inpatient setting with a focus on acute rehabilitation and neuro-related conditions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California State License, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), and in-hand certification documentation at time of submittal.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting experience, community hospital experience, and prior LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) or trauma level I/II experience.
• Additional Information: This role involves assessing a wide range of conditions including CVA (stroke), SCI (spinal cord injury), TBI (traumatic brain injury), amputations, oncology, and orthopedic cases. Candidates must have at least two years of experience and travel availability for assignments. The candidate will be expected to complete necessary lab work within 3-5 days of signing and verify a seven-year work history. Vaccination status for COVID-19 and flu vaccines is currently unknown.
