The Inventory Coordinator manages day-to-day inventory activities, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and movement of raw materials, components, and finished products. This role supports planning, forecasting, purchasing, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment by maintaining precise records in ERP and procurement systems. The Inventory Coordinator works closely with warehouse technicians and other team members to ensure inventory is received, labeled, stored, and distributed correctly, while supporting inventory analysis and continuous improvement of inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with warehouse technicians after deliveries to assign lot numbers and expiration dates in the ERP or procurement system, print and apply labels, and store materials appropriately or distribute them to the correct personnel.
• Assist with processing orders, including order entry, tracking, and supporting the use and sale of company inventory such as raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Inspect incoming inventory to confirm that ordered items arrive in good condition, match purchase specifications, and meet expected quantities.
• Record inventory details by accurately entering item names, numbers, descriptions, and quantities into a computerized system or on paper, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
• Maintain an organized and neat inventory storage area, using barcodes or labels to clearly identify and locate items efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels regularly and notify supervisors when supplies are running low or approaching reorder points.
• Assist with ordering new items or restocking inventory to support continuous operations and prevent stockouts.
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations, promptly investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to address inventory-related issues, including shortages, overages, and mislabeling.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records to support planning, forecasting, and operational decision-making.
• Support inventory analysis and reporting by compiling data, generating reports, and providing insights to improve inventory management processes.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and work instructions while maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy, and compliance in all inventory activities.

• At least 2+ years of supply chain or inventory experience.
• At least 2+ years of experience performing order entry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with inventory control, inventory management, and cycle counts.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and work within ERP or procurement systems.
• Strong order entry and administrative support skills.
• Data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and general clerical and administrative tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn new techniques and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies and procedures.

• Experience providing support and service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfort working with barcodes, labels, and other identification tools for inventory management.
• Experience in a lab testing, manufacturing, or similar environment is beneficial.
• Interest in career growth and willingness to explore other roles within the organization over time.

This role is based in Horsham, PA, with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position operates in a lab testing and manufacturing environment where accuracy, organization, and adherence to procedures are essential. You will work closely with warehouse technicians and office staff, using ERP or procurement systems, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook), and barcode or labeling tools to manage inventory. The dress code is business casual, reflecting a professional yet comfortable workplace. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Horsham, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Horsham,PA.
