Assistant Team Lead Warehouse (19043)

Adecco is hiring an experienced Warehouse Assistant Team Lead to support daily distribution center operations and help drive safety, productivity, accuracy, and team performance. Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations while maintaining high standards for health and safety, security, housekeeping, and operational compliance

• Help drive and exceed key performance targets, including productivity, efficiency, inventory accuracy, product damage, and stock integrity

• Allocate daily workloads based on staffing and resource plans provided by the Team Leader

• Monitor workflow throughout the shift and adjust priorities to support operational deadlines

• Support operations involving material handling equipment (MHE) , including forklifts, reach trucks, sit-down counterbalance forklifts, high-level order pickers, and cherry pickers

• Escalate staffing, resource, productivity, or KPI concerns to management promptly

• Monitor direct and indirect labor hours to help ensure employees work within established schedules

• Coordinate additional staffing needs, overtime, temporary labor, or additional hours with management approval

• Ensure operational deadlines, productivity standards, and service expectations are consistently met

• Communicate performance updates and operational changes to team members

• Facilitate team meetings and reinforce expectations around safety, quality, productivity, and performance

• Maintain and utilize visual management tools and operational performance boards

• Build positive working relationships with internal teams, customers, and business partners

• Ensure customer service requests are handled promptly and through appropriate channels

• Complete required daily operational reports and follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Support client tours, site visits, and new business activities as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, fulfillment, or manufacturing operations

• Previous team lead, warehouse lead, or supervisory experience preferred

• Knowledge of warehouse KPIs, productivity metrics, inventory accuracy, and labor planning

• Experience working with or around forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and cherry pickers

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritize workloads in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, housekeeping, and customer servicess activities

Pay Details: $22.50 per hour
