CAD / AGTEK Technician

Location: Wildwood, FL
Pay: $23–$26 per hour

A construction contractor is seeking a detail-oriented  CAD / AGTEK Technician to support estimating and project management efforts. This position is responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs and assisting with bid and project documentation for site development, utility, and roadway projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs for civil construction scopes, including earthwork, underground utilities, and roadway work
• Utilize AutoCAD and other estimating software to prepare and support project estimates
• Assist estimating and project management teams with proposals, bid packages, and change orders
• Prepare exhibits, drawings, and supporting documentation for bids and project presentations
• Maintain organized electronic files and compile relevant project data
• Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed

Qualifications

• AutoCAD or similar drafting software experience required (2+ years)
• Experience with AGTEK or similar takeoff/estimating software preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
