Pre-School Age Soccer Instructor

Soccer Playing Experience Preferred - Opportunities available for Pre-School Age Soccer Instructor.

Irvine Youth Soccer league (IYSL) Offers recreational soccer for kids ages 4-12 in the Irvine, CA area. Within IYSL, we offer classes for ages 2-3 years old called Tiny Tots. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic youth soccer coach to help us run sessions at our Irvine locations. We would like candidates to understand the game of soccer and enjoy working with 2-4-year-old kids. We offer rewarding work in a positive environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and will be committed to helping kids have fun while they learn the basics of soccer.

Requirements:

• Currently live within a reasonable commute to Irvine, CA (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE AREA!
• 4:30-7:00/8:00 PM Monday-Friday (Flexible Schedule. Do not need to be available every day)
• Minimum Age 16 Years Old
• Must speak English

Responsibilities:

• Instruct 2-4-year-old kids in youth soccer activities
• Help kids have fun and experience soccer for the first time
• Showcase high levels of fun energy
• Demonstrate basic soccer form and technique
• Implement specialized training curriculums for players
• Ensure programs are effective, safe, and fun

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a youth soccer coach preferred, not required
• Experience as a soccer player preferred, not required
• Ability to train boys and girls ages 2-4 at beginner skill levels
• Passion for youth soccer and kids
• Ability to build rapport with players and provide a fun environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
