As an unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-materials-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-support areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document entries, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with site requirements. Report observed hazards, equipment issues, policy violations, and suspicious activity to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
