Manages budgets and resources, maintains appropriate staffing and understands healthcare finance. Leads and supports performance and quality improvement initiatives, implements evidence‑based practice changes, and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision‑making, problem‑solving, and integrating new systems to enhance patient care and outcomes. Provides strong leadership and mentorship, ensures high‑quality clinical care, supports staff development, and maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery. Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments to ensure patient‑centered care. Demonstrates professionalism, supports ongoing education and development, maintains confidentiality, and upholds ethical standards and organizational policies. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have excellent customer service/communication skills Must have the ability to develop outstanding rapport and work well with physicians and staff Must be able to maintain focus on Patient Experience Knowledge of regulatory standards (The Joint Commission, OSHA, Specialty Standards) strongly preferred Ability to communicate effectively and present information to both large and small groups Computer knowledge and skills. Cerner medical record experience preferred. Maintain clinical competencies and is able to fully assist at the bedside. Collaborates with leadership and staff to define and refine goals consistent with the organization's mission and goals, taking into consideration all populations served.
