Job Developer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelors degree in a related field is preferred
• Five years of experience in a human services delivery system, including two years in job development
• Equivalent education and experience may be accepted in place of the stated background
• Self-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport
• Dependable, accountable, and compassionate

• Reach out to community employers to secure paid positions and volunteer educational opportunities for referred individuals
• Research and recommend community employment sites and activities, complete vocational assessments, conduct site visits, and carry out follow-up as needed
• Identify career paths and vocational options by contacting employers and aligning their needs with individuals goals
• Support individuals with job searching, interviewing, and post-placement follow-up
• Deliver work adjustment training to strengthen work skills, workplace behavior, interpersonal abilities, and job-retention ethics
• Help develop Individual Service Plans for people with paid or volunteer jobs, as well as those with job development objectives
• Complete required documentation reviews, meet regularly with individuals and other stakeholders, and maintain clear communication with the planning team
• Attend community meetings related to program participants, represent the program professionally, and protect individual rights
• Help ensure individual safety by providing appropriate supervision at job sites
