Apollo Electric is seeking experienced and motivated E-2 Licensed Electricians to join our team in Connecticut. Candidates must possess a valid Connecticut E-2 Journeyperson Electrician License and have experience working on residential and commercial electrical projects.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Install electrical wiring, raceways, conduit, cable tray systems, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, and switchgear
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform repairs as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and equipment
- Ensure all work complies with applicable NEC, Connecticut State Electrical Codes, and OSHA standards
- Pull, terminate, and test wiring for electrical systems and control equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Connecticut E-2 Journeyperson Electrician License (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
- Strong knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and specifications
- Experience with electrical equipment, power tools, and testing instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
Compensation - Salary/hourly rate negotiable based on experience
