US Air Conditioning Distributors is one of the largest privately owned HVAC equipment distributors with 52 locations in California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Arizona whose goal is to provide customers with what they need, when they need it with free next-day delivery, crane service, incredible inventory selection, and experienced, friendly personnel to help assist the customer. We are a one-stop shop for all your HVAC needs from residential to commercial to industrial including equipment, controls, parts, supplies, and sheet metal.
US Air Conditioning Distributors is currently seeking a reliable and motivated professional for its growing team in the Salt Lake City Offices.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As an Order Entry Assistant/Receptionist, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for managing a range of key tasks, including data entry, processing sales orders, clerical filing, and handling phone communications. Your role involves reviewing purchase orders and shipment contents before their release from our facility, promptly notifying customers of any delivery schedule changes, and responding swiftly to customer inquiries. You'll also play a crucial role in tracking and analyzing mis-shipments to prevent future occurrences. Maintaining strong relationships with accounts and effectively coordinating with other departments are essential to your success in this position. You will be answering phones and forwarding phone calls to appropriate recipients. You may also be called upon to perform additional clerical duties as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform at a high level during peak demand periods. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in data entry
