Quality Control Laboratory Technician

Adecco is currently hiring a Quality Control Laboratory Technician for a leading global manufacturer known for producing high-quality flavors, fragrances, and specialty ingredients used in food, beverage, personal care, and consumer products.

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

Pay Rate: Up to $30/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (earlier start time available if preferred)

Assignment Length: Long-term temporary assignment through May 2027 , with the possibility of extension and additional opportunities based on performance.

Position Summary

The Quality Control Laboratory Technician will support laboratory operations by performing analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to laboratory procedures, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using techniques such as titration, pH analysis, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Karl Fischer moisture analysis, and nitrogen analysis.

• Accurately record, interpret, and document laboratory data and test results.

• Summarize findings and communicate results to internal stakeholders.

• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.

• Maintain laboratory notebooks and documentation in accordance with company policies and quality standards.

• Follow laboratory procedures, quality guidelines, and safety protocols at all times.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain an organized laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline required.

• Previous laboratory experience preferred.

• Experience performing titration is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

• Proficiency in following SOPs and maintaining accurate laboratory records.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
